Placemaking Workshops Series – Most Mondays April – August

The Placemaking Workshop Series is a collaborative learning environment to support neighborhood project leaders in sharing the principles and practices of making great places, and sharing skills from community organizing and social media, to permits and project management.  It happens most Monday Evenings at 6pm, at the EcoHouse at Fertile Ground, 911 Adams Street, Olympia.  See the workshop schedule.

Eastside Urban Farm & Garden 1-year Anniversary Celebration & Great Places Dinner


With a barbeque, sales throughout the store, information tables, raffles, live music, and silent auction later on.

Dinner will feature neighborhood storytellers sharing their visions of great placemaking efforts in the works all around Olympia.  And a chance for placemaking project teams to connect with other neighborhoods.

12noon – 9:00 pm, Saturday April 11

Dinner is from 6-9 pm.  Cost sliding scale $5-20 / person. 

Come prepared to bid on our totally local silent auction!

 Placemakers – Save the Date!  And be ready to share 3-5 minutes about your project:  The need you are addressing, your community’s vision, and what you have planned!!
